Property for Sale in Collecorvino, Abruzzo

Collecorvino is a hill village in the Province of Pescara, a short distance inland from the Adriatic coast. It sits on a ridge among olive groves and vineyards, close enough to Pescara for city life and beaches, yet still rural in character.

The Village and the Pescara Hills

The small historic centre has a parish church and a handful of old streets, while newer houses and farms are spread across the surrounding hills. Olive oil is the main local product, and on clear days the views reach from the sea to the Gran Sasso and the Majella.

Loreto Aprutino, with its historic centre and olive oil tradition, lies further inland, and Penne is beyond it. Elice is a neighbouring hill village to the north.

The listings include villas, a house and a town house. Prices vary widely: smaller homes are under €100,000, while the larger villas with land are priced between about €250,000 and €500,000. Most homes have two or three bedrooms.

Everyday Life and Getting There

Collecorvino has local shops and services, with supermarkets, hospitals and shopping centres a short drive away in Pescara and on the coast at Montesilvano. The beaches of the Adriatic are easily reached.

The A14 coastal motorway runs nearby, and Pescara has the nearest station and Abruzzo airport, with flights to several European destinations. A car is the practical way to get around.

Buying in Collecorvino

Inland Abruzzo is seismic, so get a structural survey on older properties and ask about any earthquake reinforcement. Some hillside plots in the area are affected by erosion, which a survey should look at. For villas with land, confirm the boundaries and what the comune allows to be built. Have a geometra trace the property’s cadastral and planning history before agreeing terms.
