Borgo apartment with San Gimignano views, Tuscany

Ten minutes from the towers of San Gimignano, tucked into vineyards and gentle Tuscan hills, this one-bedroom apartment sits inside a 14th-century borgo restored in the early 2000s. Four old farmhouses, twenty homes, one shared pool looking straight at the medieval skyline — a small community of Italian families and a few international neighbours who found their way here.

The apartment itself is calm and contemporary. Oak floors run through every room, warmed by underfloor heating. High beamed ceilings open up the space, and the large lounge-diner faces the vineyards and the towers on the horizon. One double bedroom, one generous bathroom, three sleeping spaces in total — enough for a couple, a young family, or guests who linger a little longer than planned.
