Set in an exceptionally peaceful mountain setting, surrounded by woodland, open meadows and unspoilt nature, this unique property forms part of an historic estate, once belonging to the renowned Agnesi family. Over the years, the estate has been used for holidays, private events, weddings, corporate retreats, yoga retreats and other nature-based activities.
This sale exclusively includes the Fattoria, the independent guest house and the swimming pool with their associated outdoor areas.
The Fattoria, extending to approximately 710 sq m, is the heart of the property. Originally built as the working farm serving the main estate, it was later incorporated into the former hotel and has since been renovated and adapted for hospitality and group accommodation.
Today, the building offers 11 bedrooms with accommodation for approximately 20 guests, together with extensive communal areas and a professional-style kitchen.
One of its most impressive features is the approximately 140 sq m meeting and function room, characterised by a beautiful exposed timber roof, generous proportions, high ceilings and a series of arched windows overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The interiors retain much of the authentic character of the property, combining traditional materials, wooden furniture and large convivial spaces. The layout provides considerable flexibility and could lend itself to hospitality, retreats, seminars, workshops, private events or simply the creation of an exceptional private country residence.
Part of the former stables was also converted into the restaurant known as “La Stalla”, further reflecting the property’s long-standing hospitality tradition.
Large dining areas, sitting rooms and bedrooms are complemented by numerous windows and outdoor spaces, creating a constant connection between the interiors and the surrounding landscape.
The sale also includes an independent guest house of approximately 80 sq m, positioned close to the Fattoria and surrounded by greenery.
Originally described as the Caretaker’s House, the property features attractive stone elevations and a covered outdoor area and currently provides one bedroom. It could be used as guest accommodation, staff accommodation or as an entirely independent residential unit.
Its traditional stone architecture and intimate scale make it a particularly charming complement to the main building.
Swimming Pool and Outdoor Areas
A short distance from the Fattoria is the private 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, set within a peaceful garden area surrounded by mature trees and countryside.
The pool measures approximately 10 x 5 x 1.2 metres and enjoys a particularly secluded position, offering privacy and tranquillity.
A wooden sun deck, mature vegetation and views towards the surrounding hills create an inviting outdoor area for relaxing during the warmer months.
The grounds immediately surrounding the property are one of its greatest attractions, with lawns, mature trees, shaded areas and several spaces suitable for outdoor dining, relaxation and recreational use.
This property lies at approximately 1,100 metres above sea level, close to Monte Grande in the Maritime Alps. The landscape is characterised by broad-leaved woodland, mountain pastures and abundant vegetation, while the Ligurian coast and the beaches around Arma di Taggia remain accessible through the Argentina Valley.
