Description

Tucked onto the western shore of Lake Como, a few minutes on foot from the heart of Bellagio, this two-bedroom lakeside apartment — about 90 square metres — sits right where the water meets the village. The lake is not a view here — it is a presence, sliding past every window, lapping just beyond the terrace, carrying the soft sound of the wooden boats moored along the wall.

Inside, a careful renovation has kept the soul of the building and quietly modernised everything that matters. Handcrafted parquet, touches of natural stone, white walls that hold the lake light, and a small patterned-tile kitchen open into a living space that flows out through tall doors onto a private balcony. A wooden spiral staircase climbs to two bedrooms that wake with the morning sun and the particular stillness only a lakefront village gives.
