Period Villa Apartment near Lake Como

Three hundred meters from the shoreline of Lake Como, inside a 1920s villa in Tremezzina, this restored apartment opens onto a wide private terrace where the lake, the village rooftops and the Grigne peaks line up in a single, quiet panorama. Inside, exposed wooden beams cross the ceiling of a single luminous room that gathers a fireplace, a kitchenette and a long table for slow lunches; a bedroom and a small storage complete the floor plan. Mornings begin with the bells of the parish below, afternoons drift on the terrace as clouds settle over the snowline, and evenings carry the soft hum of boats crossing toward Bellagio. Como sits half an hour away, Lugano the same, Milan and the airport just over an hour — close enough for the world, far enough to forget it.
