Description

On the main square of Gualdo Cattaneo, a few steps from the Rocca Borgia, a whole stone building opens directly onto village life. The façade is bare stone, the entrance portal framed in brick, and the bones of the place go back well before 1939 — the kind of address that has watched the square fill and empty for a century.

Inside, the building works as a small world of its own. Up the marble staircase, the first apartment unfolds with a fireplace kitchen that steps out onto a livable terrace, a raised reception room under painted beam ceilings and terracotta floors, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. A second, fully separate apartment sits on the floor above — three more bedrooms, a wide eat-in kitchen, and a living room with windows that look straight onto the piazza.
