Description

Historic apartment for sale in Fiesole, Florence, on the second floor of Villa Covoni, featuring exposed beams and a shared park with a swimming pool.
Located on the second and top floor of Villa Covoni—a 19th-century residence recently restored to its former glory—this 250 m² / 2,691 sq ft apartment occupies the highest and brightest portion of the building, offering the most expansive views of the Florentine countryside. The historic center of Fiesole is three kilometers away, and Florence is seven kilometers away: a location that combines the tranquility of the hills with immediate proximity to the city, with the town’s amenities just a few minutes away and Peretola Airport twelve kilometers away.

Access to the villa is via a paved road through a private entrance, and an elevator connects the underground garage directly to the upper floors. The renovation, completed in 2025, preserved the elements that tell the building’s story, particularly the exposed beams—reinterpreted in a contemporary style—and paired them with modern finishes, hardwood floors, underfloor heating, and light-colored surfaces that amplify natural light, in rooms where the ceilings reach nearly five meters in height. The layout is well-organized: an entryway, flanked by a terrace, leads to the living room and kitchen, while the three bedrooms, served by four bathrooms, overlook the greenery; a walk-in closet and a dedicated laundry room complete the floor. In the basement, a private wine cellar provides utility space, flanked by two parking spaces in a covered garage. Outside, the condominium’s approximately 4,000-square-meter park with a swimming pool serves as a natural extension of the home—a well-maintained and secure space where the villa harmonizes with the landscape of the Fiesole hills. The property is ideal as a primary residence, a prestigious home, or an investment for high-end tourist rentals, in one of the most sought-after locations in the Florence area.
