Unforgettable sunsets over the Chianti hills: a three-storey stone villa with courtyard and garden, for sale near Siena. Set within a captivating 14th-century complex in the heart of the Chianti Classico, just 6 km from Siena (Porta Camollia), this stone country house enjoys uninterrupted views over gentle vineyards and olive groves. The fully enclosed garden extends to 4,490 sq m/48,330 sq ft and is accessed through a magnificent arch leading to an intimate inner courtyard. The country house offers 495 sq m/5,328 sq ft across three levels and retains its authentic architectural character, with stone façades, terracotta roofing and brick arches.
The ground floor is organised around a welcoming entrance hall that harmoniously connects the living areas. A double sitting room with central arch and fireplace adjoins a recently renovated eat-in kitchen. Three bedrooms, two windowed bathrooms and a storage room complete the floor. A stone staircase from the main entrance leads to the upper level, where a panoramic window illuminates the hallway opening onto a sitting room with fireplace, a double dining/living room with parquet floors, a second kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a mezzanine laundry area. The basement accommodates a garage, a wine cellar and further utility spaces, accessible both internally and via a second vehicle entrance. In the courtyard, a stone outbuilding — formerly a pigsty — has been skillfully converted into a guest annexe with dining area and bathroom, equally suited as a hobby room or home office. The land includes an orchard with olive trees and a natural spring for irrigation. The main house is currently divided into two apartments but can easily be reconfigured as a single elegant villa, or subdivided to create additional units or holiday rentals, offering great flexibility for both private use and hospitality.
